History: As a puppy, curious little Jupiter managed to wander away from home and get lost. Scared, alone, and hungry, she was found by a young boy named Ben, who snuck her in his room and cared for her. He wasn't allowed to have a dog, so he kept her secret from his parents (hidden in the bedroom closet when he was off at school), which wasn't hard because they weren't very good parents and practically ignored their son's existence. They could often be heard screaming at each other through the dirty little house, and Ben would hide in the closet with Jupiter and hug her tightly until all was quiet.

One day, during a particularly loud screaming match, the mother burst in the room and found her son with Jupiter. She grabbed his arm and yanked him away from the dog, now screaming at Ben, and Jupiter, thinking he was now in danger, leapt forward and snapped at her, causing her to jump back and let go, but then the mother was shrieking about some rabid wild animal in the house. The father soon came crashing in with a bat, forced Jupiter back in the closet and called animal control, who took her to the local pound.

Once again scared and alone, now also missing her boy, she was picked up by the pet shelter in Pawsville, where they hoped to give her a second chance.

-Jupiter is normally shy and quiet. Having spent most of her life in a closet, she is very conflicted between being cautious or curious of new things/people/experiences, but curiosity tends to win unless she feels unsafe.

-She warms up pretty quickly to those who are nice to her. Her quietness will then start to melt away and she becomes sweet, thoughtful, and more fun to be around. She is very loyal to those she cares about, and her cautiousness will fade to a more trusting and gullible nature.

-She will usually work past her shyness if someone looks like they need help, if they are hurt, or if they look sad. She loves to help and be useful.

Extra:
-Jupiter doesn't like wearing pants. They make her feel too constricted. She prefers over sized shirts/sweaters/hoodies, and boyshorts.
